Assembly Hacker Typer

Nothing on this site looks more like movie hacking than raw x86 assembly: three-letter mnemonics, register names, and comments that read like a codebreaker’s notebook. When a scene needs "this person speaks directly to the CPU," assembly is the only correct choice. Pair it with the retro amber theme and CRT effect for the full 1980s-thriller look.

The sample is an honest classic — a bubble sort over an array, with data and text sections and a printf call to show the result. Humble algorithm, maximum intimidation.

In this sample: An x86 NASM bubble sort with data/text sections, registers, and a printf output routine.

How to use the Assembly typer

  1. Click the terminal above and mash any keys — each press reveals the next characters of the Assembly sample.
  2. Open Settings to change theme, speed, sounds, Matrix rain, the CRT effect, or turn on Auto-Type so the screen types itself.
  3. Use browser fullscreen for a clean movie shot, and Share setup to copy a link that restores everything.

Like every HackerTyping screen, this is harmless entertainment: the Assembly code is a local, prewritten sample that is displayed and never executed, and your keystrokes are never recorded.
