JavaScript Hacker Typer

JavaScript runs the web, so a screen full of it reads as "this person is building something right now." The class syntax, arrow functions, and camelCase names are instantly familiar to anyone who has peeked at a browser console — ideal for a fake coding scene that has to survive a co-worker glancing over your shoulder.

The sample implements a small blockchain node: a genesis block, proof-of-work mining with an adjustable difficulty, and pending transaction handling. Dramatic, plausible, and completely inert — the code is displayed, never run.

In this sample: A BlockchainNode class with genesis blocks, proof-of-work mining, and a transaction pool.

How to use the JavaScript typer

  1. Click the terminal above and mash any keys — each press reveals the next characters of the JavaScript sample.
  2. Open Settings to change theme, speed, sounds, Matrix rain, the CRT effect, or turn on Auto-Type so the screen types itself.
  3. Use browser fullscreen for a clean movie shot, and Share setup to copy a link that restores everything.

Like every HackerTyping screen, this is harmless entertainment: the JavaScript code is a local, prewritten sample that is displayed and never executed, and your keystrokes are never recorded.
