Elixir Hacker Typer

Elixir runs on the BEAM, the virtual machine famous for nine-nines uptime, so an Elixir screen suggests systems that must never go down — telecoms, exchanges, message buses. The defmodule blocks and pipe operators give it a distinctive, modern silhouette.

The sample is an OTP application starting a supervision tree for a fictional crypto-trading system: repos, workers, and restart strategies. Fault-tolerant by design, fictional by construction.

In this sample: An OTP application module supervising repos and workers for a fictional crypto trader.

How to use the Elixir typer

  1. Click the terminal above and mash any keys — each press reveals the next characters of the Elixir sample.
  2. Open Settings to change theme, speed, sounds, Matrix rain, the CRT effect, or turn on Auto-Type so the screen types itself.
  3. Use browser fullscreen for a clean movie shot, and Share setup to copy a link that restores everything.

Like every HackerTyping screen, this is harmless entertainment: the Elixir code is a local, prewritten sample that is displayed and never executed, and your keystrokes are never recorded.
